Fraud Investigation

The Challenge

Every state in the union has a job services or department of workforce services. Each of these departments has a division charged with investigating and prosecuting suspected cases of workman’s insurance fraud.

The Solution

Media Solutions was commissioned by the United States Department of Labor to produce a series of video programs to be used by these departments as in-service training modules.

A large potion of these modules--almost two hours of screen time--was devoted to examining a case from start to finish through a series of dramatic, narrative scenes. These scenes were interrupted periodically by short instructional segments highlighting the investigative and legal techniques used in the successful prosecution of the dramatized case.

This program has been shown in every state in the union as a captivating, integral tool in the training and development of agents engaged in the investigation of insurance fraud.
